Team
The Tracheostomy Review and Management Service (TRAMS) is an innovative consultative multidisciplinary specialist service at Austin Health. Since 2001, this expert team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and speech pathologists has managed thousands of patients who have a tracheostomy tube both in the hospital and into the community.

The TRAMS team works closely with and collaborates with all specialist tracheostomy services at Austin Health including:
The Austin Health ICU cares for a broad and complex range of critically ill medical and surgical patients. A world leader in critical care research, the ICU is a major contributor to innovation in clinical practice.
The VRSS is a state-wide specialist service providing expert, multidisciplinary services to adults with chronic respiratory failure who need to use a ventilator. The VRSS is a national leader in home ventilation and actively fosters research and education in the area of chronic ventilatory failure.
The VSCS is a comprehensive state-wide service that provides continuous care from emergency and acute care to rehabilitation community re-integration and support services for people with spinal cord injuries
